The Women of Steel Committee went to Pittsburgh!
Joining over 1200 other Union Sisters (and a few brothers) at the Women of Steel Conference October 16-20, 2010,
our committee  volunteered for phone-banking and took classes that will benefit all of our members. An impromptu
street rally was formed in support of Speaker of the House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, (D-California) who was
featured at the conference. A small group of protesters were shouted down by all the Women of Steel who clearly feel
that Speaker Pelosi was the "Best Speaker Ever!"
